When I launched CMP in September 2007 my intention was to create a venue for sharing my NYC dining experiences. For the next year and a half I posted a weekly restaurant review, replete with star ratings and details about food, service, and décor.

Towards the end of that year and a half, CMP’s format began to feel rigid. The reviews became tedious to write, and frankly, tedious to read. Even worse, I was having culinary adventures in my own kitchen and outside of NYC – neither of which seemed to have a place on the website.

Moving forward, my goal is make CMP’s content more fun to read and bite-sized for easy digesting. While I’ll continue to write about my NYC dining experiences, it will be in more concise and concentrated form. I’ll also be sharing stories (and photos!) from my own cooking adventures and travels.
